Your Second Visit to Our Effingham Practice

After Dr. Hamby studies your health history and correlates his examination findings, he’ll make recommendations designed to help you achieve and maintain your health. We call this the Report of Findings.

This is usually on your second visit. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit

  • Gives Dr. Hamby time to correlate his findings

  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Hamby, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Take a look to see what you can expect during your regular visits to our office.

Dr. Hamby Asks some important questions of interest to Effingham residents - Chiropractor Effingham Dr. Hamby Asks...

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
