Your First Visit to Our Effingham Practice

By consulting Dr. Hamby's office, you are taking an exciting first step towards better health.  He believes in natural healing, including chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation, therapy, and nutrition.

On your first visit to Hamby Chiropractic, once your paper work is complete, you will meet Dr. Hamby and his staff and receive a complimentary consultation which will give you an opportunity to discuss your health goals and find out if chiropractic care is likely to help you.

If he feels you would benefit from chiropractic care he will do a thorough case history, examination and x-rays (if necessary) to make sure that your condition can be helped through the natural healing of chiropractic adjustments.  Dr. Hamby will review your findings in detail and you will begin your chiropractic adjustments and any necessary therapy treatment that your condition may necessitate.

Take a look to see what you can expect during your second visit.

Do chiropractors prescribe medications for the pain?
No. Chiropractic is a drug-free approach to better health. Instead, we rely on natural methods. We can show you how to use ice to control pain. When properly applied, ice can have an analgesic effect without the unwanted and sometimes dangerous effects of pain medications.
What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
